Our engineering team has made several important and useful changes to our mobile application. Let's break down each one so you know what to look for:
One of the first things you’ll notice about the new mobile application is the overall design revamp we’ve worked on. We tweaked the design to be more in line with the desktop version and to give you more opportunities to brand the look and feel of the application. Overall, there are more places for your brand colors to shine as employees give recognition, complete challenges, and redeem rewards.
Companies have been excited about how our nominations module will help them reward employees cost-effectively. While nominations typically have a small number of winners, you can quickly send positive feedback to all employees who receive one. Thanks to our recent update, employees can now nominate peers for awards on their phones.
Ready to take your recognition program up a notch? We’ve built Streaks to incentivize frequent and meaningful recognition. Employees keep their streak going by recognizing one employee per week. We introduced this feature in the application a few weeks ago, and now this feature is available in the mobile application. 🔥
Our leaderboard is a fantastic tool for employers and employees alike. The leaderboard allows you to keep up with activities like top point recipients, top shoutout senders, and even the top recognition streaks with your organization. This is an excellent feature for administrators and employees who want to see who is making waves at your organization.
It's important to be able to redeem your Nectar points for a wide array of items. Previously, the mobile app only supported gift cards, donations, custom rewards, and our internal swag vendor. We've made some changes to support Amazon, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada, and Axomo (another swag vendor) directly in the mobile app. These updates will give your employees access to millions of reward options on the go.
Do you ever wish Nectar came in other languages? Depending on your plan, you might have access to multi-language support. With recent updates to the app, translating the application into Spanish, French, Portuguese, and more only takes a few seconds.
Our customer service team is top-notch. Many of our customers rave about their Customer Success Managers and how easy it is to contact our support team. We are constantly investing in top talent to make getting your questions answered easier.
The new application has a Chat With Us feature that connects your team to one of our customer support team members. Our support team is trained to help your employees with their Nectar questions, so adding a chat function to mobile will help us field even more questions so our customers can get back to the work that matters most.
Lastly, you'll see the discounts tab in the mobile application. This will make it easier for your employees to enjoy fun perks like discounts at restaurants, theme parks, hotels, and more. Each discount has unique details that are easier to access in the new app.
